Hello climbers, parents, and coaches,

It is that time of year again to get registered and ready for the upcoming ABS and SCS seasons. Once again you can only register on-line for the season www.usaclimbing.net/shop_main.cfm. The cost is $25 for just ABS, $50 for just SCS, or $70 for both. Please register before the first ABS comp and make sure you bring your membership card to the comps. Once again this year you only need to compete in 2 local comps in order to be eligible to advance past Regionals.

Taken from the SCC Website

There is an opportunity to possibly open climbing and bouldering at Cloudland Canyon near Lafayette, in northwest GA. Cloudland has been closed to climbing for years due to lack of park management/supervision and supposedly lack of rescue capabilities. The world famous climber/boulderer, John Gill, was photographed climbing in this area many years ago in the book "Master of Rock" by Pat Ament.
